The Loki series
And so Loki has… come to an end…
So Loki sacrificed himself and became the thing that keeps time from collapsing, I suppose??
Loki finally becomes king… but that face of his looks so sad it hurts…
Mobius seems to be setting off to travel the world they’ve spent all this time protecting. His memories haven’t come back, but the look on his face watching his own kids was so good… honestly…
Loki takes every timeline, one by one, and carries them to what used to be the Citadel at the End of Time.
Back in season 1 and the other MCU films, Loki dreamed of taking the throne. And over the course of this show he stopped clinging to that ambition.
But then! Loki sits on the throne at the end of time and becomes the king who holds and protects every timeline — what a turn, so unbelievably good! I cried
And on top of that, when Loki brings the timelines together they take the shape of Yggdrasil, the mythical tree that connects all the realms in Norse mythology. So good, and it makes me cry
Hundreds and thousands of do-overs, plus centuries of study just to learn more about time — how far has Loki’s internal clock run forward in this one episode alone… lol
Never imagined he’d turn into a character who sacrifices himself like this… And the scene where he cheers Victor Timely on with absolutely no feeling in it was hilarious.
To think the Temporal Loom was just a safety device…
Set it off and everything outside the Sacred Timeline is wiped out…
So He Who Remains’ plan had his own death at the end of season 1 built into it… What a schemer.
It looks like he could see that the trouble with the Temporal Loom would bring Loki back here. From his side the plan seems to have been for Loki to kill Sylvie and become his successor, the one who protects the Sacred Timeline and nothing else — but Loki went for self-sacrifice and didn’t take that road…

The opening plays in reverse, hinting at how the Loki of episode 6 works his way through the problem.
There’s no such thing as peace. Only which burden you choose.
Love this line of Mobius’s far too much…
This scene was so good… Loki starts doubting what the best thing for him to do actually is, and goes back to that first conversation with Mobius.
Without telling him anything about their future, Loki digs deep into Mobius’s past, and learns that Mobius once hesitated to prune an innocent Variant and that a colleague died because of it. This intimate conversation between Loki and Mobius convinces Loki that however much he wants everyone to get a happy ending, he has to make the hard choice. And along the way Loki also learns that the colleague who did the dirty work when Mobius couldn’t bring himself to was Ravonna Renslayer — a hugely important conversation…
Talking to Mobius, Loki realises there’s no road where everyone ends up happy.
And in the conversation with Sylvie he works out that he can simply build something better than what was destroyed… That settles Loki’s path…
Loki’s face here looks so genuinely sad… yeah… it was the best…
They say a Kang Variant came to Earth-616 and somebody dealt with him, and that’s almost certainly the Kang from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania lol

There’s a scene that looks like OB (Ouroboros) handing the second edition to Victor Timely! Would love a season 3. And what happened to the Victor who worked so hard alongside them in season 2? lol
Renslayer was pruned, so she got sent to where Alioth is.
Behind her there was a pyramid that might be hinting at Rama-Tut the pharaoh, a Kang Variant. And the inscription on the crumbling floor showing off the motto “Forever” feels loaded too.
And what ever happened to Brad?
Mobius apparently goes off to travel the world the TVA has been protecting.
So it doesn’t look like he’s going back to raising his kids…
Seems he’ll come back to the TVA any time, but how does that play out? Would love to see the Loki and Mobius double act again~
