This time I’m introducing this film!
Nicholas Angel, an officer with London’s Metropolitan Police, graduated top of his class, finished top at the police academy, leads the force in arrests and has been decorated over and over — a sharp-minded, athletically gifted elite policeman. But he is so good at the job that his superiors and colleagues find him a nuisance, and he ends up exiled to the country town of Sandford.
What waits for Nicholas in Sandford, where crime barely happens at all, is day after day of dull work alongside laid-back, slapdash colleagues. Working by the book exactly as he did at the Met, he can’t fit in, and here too he becomes the odd one out. But one accident starts Nicholas noticing something lurking in this seemingly peaceful village…

The one he meets there is Danny, played by Nick Frost, who works at the station riding on his parent’s name.
He is pretty dopey, and a massive film geek.
Thanks to Danny, Nicholas slo-o-owly settles into the countryside, but he notices things are just a bit too peaceful. To be precise, anyone who might threaten the town’s safety keeps disappearing…!!

Watching it get uncovered with a comic touch makes this an enormously entertaining film lol
