It opens with the hunt for X-5, who gives off a real Brad Pitt vibe!
That 70s and 80s atmosphere was the best!
What is Zaniac?
“ZANIAC!” There it is!
In the comics the story goes that a parasitic creature from the Dark Dimension possesses Brad Wolfe, an actor who played the killer in a film called Zaniac, and a real killer called Zaniac is born. Though surely the show isn’t going to touch the Dark Dimension, is it?
The TVA’s torture room
Mobius and Loki were perfectly in sync!
Good cop, bad cop, straight out of a police procedural lol
Casey was an Ouroboros fan
Never saw these two connecting lol
Going by everyone’s reactions, it seems Casey is the only one who has actually read that manual lol
An awkward reunion
This bit plays like a pair of exes running into each other. Raw, and really good.
And you can feel the difference in American values here
That’s because nobody blames Sylvie for what she did — everyone is in ally mode from the very start. Then again, B-15 and Mobius are on the free will side, so maybe there’s no reason for them to blame her at all lol
The massacre
Never expected Dox’s massacre to land as early as episode 2! Things are moving fast this time!
That body count beats Thanos lol
Can’t wait to see how this massacre goes on to affect the rest of the multiverse!!
Ravonna found
Ravonna has been found! The original behind the Variant was a high school teacher called Rebecca Tourminet, wasn’t it! So is that why she’s a teacher?
In the comics Ravonna is Kang’s lover, so Rebecca dating Kang feels like a real possibility!
Sylvie’s TemPad
What Sylvie is looking at up on the car is the TemPad she took from He Who Remains! Feels like it’s packed with functions the other TemPads don’t have — can’t wait!
