Today let me introduce the biographical musical film opening in autumn 2018, the one that runs from the formation of the British rock band Queen through to their Live Aid performance in 1985!

A legendary rock band
Let me say up front, I’m not some huge expert on Western music lol
But I do remember the shock that ran through me the first time I heard Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” years ago — that melody, those lyrics! I listened to a few more tracks after that, and they became a band I love to bits!!
The many songs that play in the film!!
What I think is unbelievably cool about the main trailer is the way it stitches mainly the three songs below together so well and lets the footage ride along on them!
I think plenty of other songs will play in the film as well.
Ahh~ so excited.
A film that shows how great Queen are
I was born after Freddie died. So Queen have only ever been something I could get to know through YouTube, books and television.
But the trailer for this film looks like it’s going to lay out the heat of that era and the road Queen walked in real detail, so I’m enormously excited!
It would be lovely if it turns out to be a film that lets you relive the heat of those days!
And the scene where the guitar solo in “Bohemian Rhapsody” wrings everything out in one go and Brian May asks “so what’s next?” is the best!
That big grin on Brian’s face is genuinely lovely!!!
It seems the film touches a little on their time in Japan too!
Autumn cannot come soon enough…
I want to see it already.
