Agent Woo and Monica apparently learn the details of Operation Cataract from an email Darcy sends. There’s a shot where the contents of that email are on screen, and reading it was a bit beyond me…
According to Woo, Hayward apparently intended to bring Vision back and use him as an AI. But Vision was stolen by Wanda, so he’s chasing him now, by the looks of it.
The person Monica went to meet to collect the heavy vehicle for getting into the Hex was Major Goodner. Goodner seems to be an old friend of Monica’s mother Maria, and she apparently helped her out.
This is the heavy vehicle Monica had someone build back in episode 5, when she worked out that a nuclear shelter on wheels would let her get into the town without being brainwashed.
As for “who” built it, I wrote in an earlier review that it might be Shuri from Black Panther, but the word going around apparently is that it’s Reed Richards, the Fantastic Four lead, before he got his powers.
Disney did announce not long ago that they’re making a Fantastic Four, so yes, that could well be it!
Darcy wakes up and finally tells Vision the truth.
It must have been his own exchanges with Wanda seen from the outside, but presumably it also let him see how Wanda feels about him.
The commercials have always been loaded, but this Nexus one seems especially important. The word Nexus turns up both in the live-action MCU and in Marvel Comics.
In the MCU, Nexus is a term from Age of Ultron. As for what it means:
Nexus is the global internet relay hub located in Oslo, Norway. Get access to Nexus and you can obtain nuclear launch codes as well. Tony investigates why Ultron was unable to obtain the launch codes, and it emerges that J.A.R.V.I.S. was protecting them.

Next, Nexus in the comics:
The Nexus is an extradimensional gateway that provides passage to every possible reality (including realities that exist between realities). Whether it was created by someone, or whether it is the one place in the whole multiverse where all realities naturally intersect, is unknown.

That’s the comics version. The WandaVision commercial advertises “choose the reality you like,” so it carries both senses at once: Nexus standing for Vision (who was J.A.R.V.I.S. to begin with), and Wanda rewriting reality to suit herself as though she were using the comics version of the Nexus.
The comics meaning turning up here might be a sign that the strange world of WandaVision is being caused by that gateway called the Nexus. The voices when Monica went into the Hex in particular might have something to do with the gateway.
Episode 6 was already hinting at it, but Tommy can read people’s minds. And this time he says something pretty striking to Agatha.
Is that because Agatha is a witch and has some kind of shield up over her mind, or because she has no mind at all…
Going in with the vehicle that was in the trailer too.
In this scene it wasn’t at all clear why Monica thought she of all people could get through lol Because she’s been in and out twice?
Going into the Hex, Monica hears the same voices of Carol Danvers and Nick Fury as at the top of episode 4, plus voices that weren’t there last time, like the doctor who told her Maria had died.

These are obviously words tied deeply to Monica’s life, but the thing I want to flag is that they’re the same voices as when she came back from the snap. This is only a theory, but could the same voices being heard both times be because both draw their energy from an Infinity Stone? As someone pushing the theory that WandaVision also depicts the return of the Infinity Stones, this scene felt like real confirmation.
Also, as she passes through, past versions of Monica appear as afterimages like this. Does that mean a distortion of space across time is happening inside that Hex — in other words, the introduction of the multiverse?
Passing through the energy field a third time turns Monica into a full superhuman. As someone pushing the theory that WandaVision is also introducing the X-Men, I want to call her a mutant lol (Details here)
The abilities of Monica’s that are known so far:
Those two. There are a few mysteries around number 1.
It’s clear enough that magnetic fields are coming off the power lines in the images above and that she can see them, but why render it with the three primary colours that WandaVision keeps using? I take a proper look at this in the “After finishing episode 7” section of this post.
As everyone has probably noticed, there are always utility poles around the Hex. There was one in episode 6 right before Vision went outside, and there’s one right next to Monica as she comes in this time. So would destroying these poles break the barrier? Probably not that easy.
Monica’s outfit is getting closer to the comics.
That scene where Monica argues that the reason Wanda doesn’t finish her off is that, unlike Hayward, she has kindness in her — that was good. Feels like the bond between Wanda and Monica has deepened. And telling her she has to face the truth, too… I think that’s a key part of why Wanda doesn’t choose to fall to villain.
Wanda goes to Agatha’s house and the boys who ought to be there are gone. This is only a guess, but the children look like one of Agatha’s objectives. Details in the “After finishing episode 7” section of this post!
She was plastered all over the posters, and Agatha Harkness exists in the source comics, so the Agnes = Agatha theory has been out there for a while — and sure enough! It was Agatha!!! Watching this scene for the first time I actually shouted OHHHHHHHHH!! out loud!!!!!!

This scene was a personal favourite, because that door leading down to the cellar made me think, ah, this is exactly the kind of house you get out west where the hurricanes are.

Really curious how the FOX Pietro that Agatha created looks through Monica’s eyes. And it would be great if the FOX Pietro, being a created thing, turned on Agatha (there’s no proof he’s on her side in the first place, come to that).
