[MCU Analysis, Explanation & Review] Moon Knight Episode 3 (MOONKNIGHT) [Impressions & Easter Eggs]
The key points I want to pick out from episode 3 of the MCU show Moon Knight, which dropped on Wednesday 13 April, plus the analysis, the explanations, the Easter eggs and predictions for where all of this goes next. Above all I’ll be writing about things like the third personality!
This post runs briefly through the things that caught my eye on a first viewing and the Easter eggs, and then gets into the analysis.

A recent hobby
Started shooting all sorts of things for fun lately. The camera is an α7 IV — shoot in RAW, edit in Lightroom, that kind of thing.
This time it was Ueno.

Episode 3, “The Friendly Type”
A third personality?

There was a killing that neither Marc nor Steven had any memory of!
Which means there is surely a third personality. In the comics the third personality was a taxi driver, but in this show he looks a lot more hot-blooded.
In the comics there have also been imagined Spider-Man / Wolverine / Captain America personalities, so could this be the Wolverine personality!? lol
The enemy’s aim and true identity

Wasn’t expecting a council of the gods to happen! And to bring out the other avatars without holding a single one back! Attending this time, besides Khonshu, were Horus, Isis, Tefnut, Osiris and Hathor — famous Egyptian gods! The other gods who weren’t there, are they sealed away as sinners I wonder?
Khonshu sealed away

Causing an eclipse and rewinding the stars risked bringing the existence of the gods out into the open, so Khonshu ended up sealed away…
How does the fight against Ammit and Arthur work from next week on, I wonder? Or how does the seal get undone? Out of those gods, Hathor felt like the one who might lend a hand!
That scene of the stars being moved around was so beautiful.
Anton Mogart / Midnight Man

Anton Mogart, the master of the house they visit to see Senfu’s sarcophagus, was Midnight Man in the comics, an arch-enemy of Moon Knight.

In this show, though, he gets killed from behind with a throwing star.
Sadly, Gaspard Ulliel, the actor who played Anton in this show, died in a skiing accident just the other day. May he rest in peace
After finishing episode 3
What Marc is hiding

Marc apparently has a secret. This is a prediction, but going by his expression and so on, I think he really did kill Layla’s father after all.
Relations with the other avatars / where does the Moon Knight world go?
All sorts of gods turned up this time! The Moon Knight world widened out in one go in this episode, but where does it go from here I wonder. It looked like most of the gods are neutral for now, and that they think along the same lines as the Eternals.
