Episode 5, Fury’s comeback
Fury is finally back!!! The scene where he puts on the trademark leather jacket and the eyepatch had me fired up! The trigger being the death of his best friend Talos, I suppose? Ah, how that monster Gravik gets taken down from here — can’t stop wondering about it!!
How Gravik gets beaten
This is only a guess, but that DNA sample handed over to Gravik, the Harvest — isn’t what’s inside just some random DNA? lol
In the comics the Super-Skrull gets turned into a cow and beaten that way, so cow DNA maybe?
Funny how there are so many graves lol
True enough, Fury does end up at a grave in plenty of the other films too lol
And what sets up Gravik being beaten — maybe it’s that the President did properly take in Fury’s “don’t trust Colonel Rhodes”?
The Skrull uprising
The Skrulls who had come to doubt how far Gravik was taking things rose up! But he puts it down with ease, and now he is looking to rule through even greater fear.
Feels like this is what sets up a lot of Skrulls switching over to the moderate side in episode 6.
What is Sonya after?
Sonya is way too strong lol
Unlike Fury she can go the cold-blooded route, so she was proving whether a target was a Skrull with no trouble at all! If only Fury could have done the same thing back with Colonel Rhodes… lol
She has joined up with Fury, but in episode 6 will she be building some kind of miracle cure out of what she gets from the captured Dr. Dalton, I wonder?
Will Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. show up?
I thought Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. might turn up, but they didn’t lol Will they show next week? Or is it not happening?
Maybe getting a mention of the Helicarrier this time is as far as the fan service goes
And the person who appears here is the one from Black Widow!
Mourning Talos
The send-off for Talos was very Star Wars, and it was lovely
The Photostatic Veil made an appearance!!
This is that S.H.I.E.L.D. gadget that also turned up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier! Takes me back
